The Process
Drawing
Once I am happy with my design on paper. I am ready to transfer it to silk fabric with a disappearing ink fabric pen.
Gutta
The hardest part is applying from a bottle with the right pressure, you make strong lines, but if too thick the Gutta will be gloopy. It is a delicate balance that requires a deep concentration and a truly present moment.
Paint
My favorite part of the process, it is the time to paint.
I use different brushes sizes and only the primary colors for painting. I have created a library of colors to be able to choose the right colors for my design.
